We drove to Strasburg, PA, to take a train ride through Amish territory. Thomas the Train was getting a bath in preparation for a big weekend at the train station, so the kids got to see him, too. We had the train car pretty much to ourselves. The kids had fun looking out the windows and pointing out the sights.

Family Photographs
It's been two years since we had the entire family together, so we decided to ask Cindy Roth Photography out to the house for some family photos on Monday, June 6. We had a great time, as you can see!

Winding up a Career
I was honored in the end-of-year faculty meeting – They put this photo on the screen for all to see: There can be only One television studio, Special Interest (gifted support) Guru!
I was also given a beautiful Gerald Putt Print by the faculty and staff. I am pictured here with the Superintendent, Dr. Sanker, and the High School Principal, Joe Mancuso.

Graduation 2011
The months of May and June were a whirlwind of activity as I finished up my duties as gifted support teacher and class advisor to the Class of 2011 and wrapped up my teaching career.
As Advisor I had the privilege of being on stage at graduation and the first to congratulate each graduate. Knowing that I was also “graduating” made it even more fun!

Adrian's mom, a school board member, handed her the diploma.
Mark Correll, Ass't Principal, read the names. Joe Mancuso, the Principal, handed them the diploma, and then I congratulated each one, along with Mike Bogdan, my co-advisor for the class.
