While we get to see Abigail and Daniel several times every week, we miss being able to see the other grandchildren. At the end of February I found a great deal with Air Tran to Atlanta, so I hopped on a plane to see Sharon, Mark, Ella and Leo.
We met a classmate of Ella’s at the Atlanta Zoo and had a fun day seeing as much as we could before the kids all petered out.
We spent some time hanging out at the lion exhibit.

Kendall and Ella.
Leo and I went to the playground to play while Ella and Kendall visited the Lorikeet exhibit. Leo had fun showing off his drumming skills for the little red headed girl on the playground.

Part of the week Mark was in Philadelphia to wrap up a merger he is working on for his company. It was a busy week for him, so a good time for me to be there to help out at home.
Ella wanted to use my phone, so I showed her how to find her daddy's picture and call him. (He was sitting on the other side of the table!). She was so surprised that he answered and she could talk to him.
Leo in his Sunday clothes. Such a good looking guy!
It was wonderful to just spend time with my daughter. We had long talks, did some shopping for Easter outfits, and just hung out in each other’s company. I needed that, and I think Sharon did, too. Next time I see her will be when baby number 3 arrives.
Leo is getting the hang of dancing (or at least bobbing) to the music!
