Trip to Simi Valley

On Tuesday we ventured into Simi Valley to see the Reagan Library. That was quite an experience. We walked through Air Force One, visited the Oval Office, and got to know the Reagans a little better as we browsed through the museum.

GAUCHO VILLAGES

After the library we stopped in Glendale at a Brazilian steakhouse Rich had heard about through the travel channel. Gauchos Village was different from anything we had ever experienced. The waiters wore bright red gaucho pants and came around with huge hunks of meat on skewers and carved off a piece at our plates. We had beef, chicken, beef, sausages, beef, and beef. Each tasty chunk was prepared in a different fashion and had a unique flavor.

Pop-pop gave Leah some of the meat from his plate. Good stuff!

Even the kids found things they liked to eat - like this yummy Chocolate Mousse dessert!

A colorful, fun place to eat!
